Engine Update October 2008 Updates October 11, 2008 Empannage area work.... - 4.0 hrs What a great weekend! My sweetie took me to the UT OU game in Dallas. What a surprise. And we won the game. UT-45 ou - 35. They finally picked up the trash dumpster from last year. They must be getting ready for another BBQ Fund Raiser out here. They put up 4 porta potties in front of my hangar like last year. I swear by the smell of that dumpster during the summer someone put a dead body in there. Today I installed the rest of the plate nuts in the vertical stabilizer and installed back on the fuselage. Drilled out 2 holes for the strobe wires and installed snap bushings. Next I installed the plate nuts for the rear inspection covers. Drilled and deburred the covers and marked for the holes in the longeron. I need to fit the emp fairing next to see if I need to move or add more holes. This website was built to document my work in compliance with the FAA requirements needed to certify my aircraft.
