EFII Fuel Pump Fabrication ..... - 10.0 hrs

I decided to change the type of fuel pump. EFII Fuelpump The issue now is going to be I have to custom fab some kind of enclosure. I have been working on different things in between pondering over how I want to go about this.

Well after an hour of trying different things I am giving up for now. The fuel lines are too short to fab up out of alum tubing. And soft lines are not an option since the fittings are 2 inches each. So on to other things.

I still needed to hook up the alternate air cable so I fabbed up some strips with adel clamps for the cable sheeth. I drilled a hole at the top and mounted these onto the existing ones I made up for the spark plug wires. Came out great.

Next I need to create something to make the scat tubes I installed into the rear baffle wall. These are blast tubes for the magnetos. The problem is they are stiff and wont stay pointed down at the mags. I cut some stiff alum strips and bent them in a 90 degree angle and used tie wraps to force the tubing to point down at the rear of the mags. One more nit down. Now to go sleep on this fuel pump problem.
